Idjadi is known for Tabriz rugs in high Raj classifications with particularly generous silk accents. The workshop operates at the upper end of Tabriz production, with 65 to 70 Raj as the typical level for top pieces.
The combination of kurk wool and silk is Idjadi's hallmark: silk forms not only outlines but entire areas of the pile, lending the rugs a particular sheen and depth effect. On the finest pieces the warp is silk.
The pattern world follows the Tabriz classics: medallions, floral compositions, hunting scenes. In color Idjadi stays with a warm, traditional palette.
Signed Idjadi pieces reach five-figure prices in the high-end trade, their silk content makes them among the more expensive Tabriz workshops.
